RayZaler is a free optomechanical simulation framework for GNU/Linux and (probably) most Unix systems. It lets you simulate optical systems with moving parts. Among other capabilities, it lets you:

• Perform ray-tracing based simulations.
• Define optomechanical models in a shareable and maintainable way.
• Adjust the geometry of the model through user-defined degrees of freedom.
• Store simulation results in CSV files.

RayZaler is a project that consists of several components. It provides a GUI tool (RZGUI) to visualize, validate and simulate optomechanical models, a Python 3 API for easy integration with user scripts and Jupyter notebooks and a C++ API for integration with native applications.
